Information
I have been a first-generation coffee producer since 1982 and, together with my children, we have been passionately and dedicated to developing all the coffee production processes at Finca Villa María. Our farm is located in the municipality of Chaparral, in the Cañón de las Hermosas district, in the southwest of the department of Tolima.
Thanks to its privileged geographic location in the majestic central Colombian mountain range, at an altitude that varies between 1,800 and 1,950 meters above sea level, our soils are exceptionally rich in nutrients, creating optimal conditions for growing some of the best coffees in Colombia.
For decades, we have been cultivating this dream in a region that has been impacted by armed conflict. However, despite the great challenges and challenges, we have constantly prepared ourselves to offer something more than coffee: an authentic connection from the bean to the cup. We celebrate the art of harvesting, an effort that drives entire communities to work together for the development and progress of our region.
Our mission is more than a commitment to coffee quality; it is a commitment to our land and our people. We are proud to contribute to the well-being and sustainable development of our community, creating a legacy of excellence and coffee tradition that will last for generations.
